Meet the ❤️ Behind the Blog

Hi there, my name is Miltha and I am the heart behind the blog Grace to Thrive!  I am so glad you have taken the time to visit the site.  In full transparency, starting a blog has been on my heart for a long time.  As someone who many times wants things to be nearly "perfect" before I put myself out there, you will see that this site is far from that.  So this is me starting something that I really haven't had a ton of time to research, but I know in my heart it's something I just need to jump headfirst and do so thanks in advance for your patience.

What I hope to do through this site is to share with you pieces of my story in hopes to inspire you to not just survive, but to thrive.

So who am I? I am a follower of Jesus, a wife, and Mama.  I work in the corporate world, so my life is probably not much different from yours in that I have a lot of roles I juggle!

I believe that we all have been given the Grace to Thrive in all we areas of our life, if we will just take the time to be intentional and own our journey.

A few other fun facts about me

I'm an enneagram 8 which means:

  • I never just do things halfway

  • I always stand up for what's right

  • What you see is what you get - I believe honesty is always the best policy

  • I will be the friend that doesn't just tell you what you want to hear, but I believe it's more important to tell you what you need to hear

  • I'm protective of those I love

  • I don't like being in control, I just don't like to feel like I'm being controlled

  • I don't seek out conflict, but I certainly don't shy away from it - I believe it's a necessary part of every relationship when handled appropriately

  • I'm married to an enneagram 6 (thank the Lord for the balance he brings).

A few random facts:

  • I never eat fast food (Chick-fila is the closet I get)

  • I once owned a Crossfit gym

  • I love to travel

  • Exercise is my therapy

  • I am obsessed with personal development because I believe we all play a bigger role in controlling our own destiny than we give ourselves credit for.

Thanks for coming along on this journey with me, my hope is that we will inspire each other along the way!

XOXOXO

-MG
